Skip the ledger

Phillips story

The loft opened because a square stamp kept missing Falls Park.

Helga’s own 6-iron was stamped 62° lie and still printed only the heel on McKennan bent. The box was not a liar so much as a mute. She started writing chords in 2011, above a violin shop that later left for the suburbs.

Nils arrived with a bending bar and a refusal to “match the set.” Sable arrived because someone had to keep the rye strip from dying during the polar vortex years. The violin shop’s ghost still lives in the stairwell. We did not keep the rosin.

We are not a museum of irons. If a sole cannot print an honest chord, we name a builder across town and send you downstairs. The ledger stays a ledger.
