Thursday night

Skywalk lights, slower dye, the same rye strip.

Thursdays we stay until half-past eight because downtown workers cannot climb Phillips at noon. The price does not change. The dye dries slower under the loft lamps. Budget the extra minutes.

Night measures are still prairie measures. We do not invent a “indoor lie.” If you only play Saturday frost, say so; do not book Thursday because it is convenient and then blame the chord in January.

The tailor downstairs locks at six. After that, use the loft bell on the stair door. If January is loud, the skywalk is two blocks and the sidewalk is ice — wear the shoes you play in anyway, because those are the shoes the chord cares about.
